The space
The villa is a modern luxury villa designed for the comfort of the owner or guest alike.
The villa is built in a contemporary Thai style with floor to ceiling glass. Doors from each of the rooms slide back to allow direct access to the large terrace, 5x11 meter Pure Water Pool (no chlorine) and garden beyond.
The villa is detached and set in a totally private, walled garden with its own entrance and parking area.
The living area is elegantly furnished, open plan and has high vaulted ceilings to give an even greater feeling of space and serenity. There is a 55" 3D television with full surround and multi zone speaker system. Each of the spacious bedrooms is also equipped with led TVs and a play station 2 for the children in bedroom 2.
Ban Tai is a quiet little suburb bit it is only minutes away from Nathon, the main town of Koh Samui and Maenam, a characterful one time fishing village with its lovely Temple.
The location makes Ban Tai and ideal holiday destination for those seeking something a little more tranquil.
Ban Tai is surrounded by a series of small and longer sandy bays that run from the western-most point of Mae Nam through to the north-west corner of Koh Samui, a peaceful part of the island.
The villa is located only 300 meters from Ban Tai beach, a long stretch of white sand with stunning views over to Koh Phangnan. There are areas with good swimming waters and others with more coral. As with its neighbouring Bang Por, the beach offers a number of very good Thai restaurants where you can dine in a beautiful setting.
Along the main road on the way to either Maenam or Bang Por, there are a few spas offering a range of treatments including whole detox programs, yoga sessions as well as massage treatments. The whole area enjoys an atmosphere of rest and relaxation, and a holiday in Ban Tai could represent a complete detoxification of the spirit.
Ban Tai is in easy reach of the hills which present some of the most stunning views of the island. Maenam on the doorstep with its selection of excellent restaurants and trendy bohemian town feel. Many villa renters on Baan Tai choose to stay within the comfort of their own villas and its surroundings, seeking in general the private escape that the location so readily provides.
From Ban Tai villas you can drive easily into the hills and enjoy some of the most spectacular views on the island. Baan Tai beach is certainly an ideal setting for those seeking a more sedate holiday away from the hustle and bustle but at the same time retaining its tropical magic.

The villa is finished to a high standard.
The living room is modern and elegant. There is a full surround music and sound system with dual zones and indoor and outdoor speakers. There is wireless internet and a full satellite package.
The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and plenty of cutlery, crockery and glass ware. There is a double sink and drainer as well as an additional bar/vegetable sink in the breakfast bar. All work surfaces are a black galaxy marble.
The dining set is a contemporary teak design, with a dramatic black chandelier above. A perfect setting should you wish to entertain.
Each of the bedrooms has a deluxe ensuite bathroom as well as the guest toilet that is off of the living room. Bedroom 2 has two additional full sized guest beds that fit under the twin beds in the room. They are on wheels and can be moved to accommodate your families requirements.

The garden is fully enclosed and is entered through the gate that leads off of its own private driveway and parking area. The tropical garden is a peaceful place to sit with views up the palm covered hills.
The pool was designed with the owners children in mind. It has a chlorine free cleansing system, making is kinder to your skin and eyes. The pool is approx 1 meter in the shallow end sloping to 1.8 meters at the deep end with two wide steps to sit on and relax. The garden sala seats 6 people comfortably while the terrace and sun deck has a further 4 sun loungers and sun bathing pads as well as a comfortable out door sofa set to relax on.

The villa is self catering, however a private chef can be arranged either to cook for you in the villa or deliver to you as per your order. Our cook can cater for European or Thai foods. This service is charged for separately.

Cleaning fee ฿2,000 per stay, including short stays
Until recently, we built the electricity costs into the nightly rate. However, we found that air con units would be left on all day, even when the villa was unoccupied. So as an eco-friendly approach, we have reduced the nightly rates, and allowing you to pay for only the electricity that you use. The electricity meter is read on check in and check out and charged at ฿7.50 per unit plus 7% vat. Average daily consumption based on 6 people sharing, would equate to ฿100 per person per day.
A security deposit of ฿20,000 will be required on checkin and returned on checkout for short stays and 1 month deposit for durations of 56 nights or more
